GRANT APPLICATION PROCESS
Impact 100 Wichita Falls grants follow a seven-step grant application process.
Check Your Eligibility
Review eligibility criteria for your non-profit organization.
Attend a Grant Workshop (January)
Attendees will be introduced to Impact 100 Wichita Falls, learn about the five focus areas, review eligibility requirements and receive training for the online application process. Appropriate personnel to attend would be the person who will write the grant application at your organization, the finance person responsible for developing the proposal’s budget and/or the Executive Director. Stay tuned for workshop dates, location, and time in addition to further instructions.
Submit a Grant Proposal (February)
The entire application process is online. Please do not send documents by mail unless requested to do so. For any documents needed to accompany your application, you will have the ability to upload digital versions online.
Grant application deadline: February 21, 2020
Review Process (March – April)
Volunteer members of Impact 100 Wichita Falls work in five focus area committees to read and score each application including financial documents.
Site visits with applicants are scheduled and conducted.
Committees meet and pick finalists in each focus area.
All applicants are informed of the status of their application and if they have been chosen as a finalist.
Join us at our annual Grant Award Night as we announce the finalist in each of the five focus areas. The finalists will each give a brief presentation. Guidelines for the presentation will be provided when finalists are notified. Impact 100 Wichita Falls members will vote (one woman, one vote) to determine the $100,000 grant award winner.
Prior to the release of funds, the grant recipient must sign a Grant Agreement. Impact 100 Wichita Falls will distribute funds in a lump sum or installments, depending on the nature of the program or project and the Grant Agreement.
Reports and Evaluation
Recipients of grant awards must report periodically to Impact 100 Wichita Falls on the progress of their program or project as specified in the Grant Agreement.
