Jacki Dowdy has devoted her most recent career to early childhood education, spending 17 years as a kindergarten teacher before serving five years at Region 9 Education Service Center as an Instructional Coach, Reading Academy Cohort Leader, and Classroom Management and Student Behavior Specialist. Although retired from public education, she is currently teaching at Molina Montessori while pursuing her Early Elementary Montessori certification through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC)—fulfilling a longtime dream.

As Co-Director of Grants for Impact100 Wichita Falls, Jacki is honored to help oversee and coordinate the annual grant process, supporting area nonprofits in making a meaningful difference in the community. She believes in the power of education for all and in the power of women who collaborate, pool financial resources, and volunteer.

Jacki is the proud mother of Emily Bowman and Andrew Bowman and mother-in-love to Andrew’s wife, Kyler. She is also “grandmother” to her kids' three dogs and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading for pleasure, watching true crime documentaries, and staying connected with many of her former students and their families.
