Ranette is a native of Burkburnett, Texas, and she and her husband are proud to call Wichita Falls home. A lifelong educator and community leader, Ranette earned degrees from Midwestern State University and the University of North Texas before dedicating 40 years to Midwestern State University, where she served as a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science until her retirement.

Committed to serving others, Ranette volunteers as a Safety Trainer for Southern Grit Advocacy and serves in several leadership roles at First Baptist Church Wichita Falls. She is passionate about strengthening her community through education, service, and philanthropy.

As a member of the Board of Directors for Impact100 Wichita Falls, Ranette is honored to join other women in supporting local nonprofits that create lasting, positive change throughout the community. She values the opportunity to invest in initiatives that improve the lives of individuals and families across Wichita Falls.

When she's not volunteering, Ranette enjoys traveling and spending time with her two sons, seven grandchildren, and many cherished friends.
