One in four children in our community is food insecure. This means that they don’t know where their next meal will come from.

The PowerPak 4 Kids Back Pack program is one where nutritious and easy-to-prepare foods are bagged and provided to children in need at schools on Fridays so they can obtain necessary nutrients over the weekend and return to school on Monday, nourished and ready to learn.

Members should meet at the Food Bank, 1230 Midwestern Parkway, whenever you’re available between 11:30-1:30.  You must wear closed-toe and heeled shoes and sleeved-shirts.
