Paula Perkins

President

Paula is an Education Specialist at Region 9 Education Service Center.  She is also an Occupational Therapist who is Board Certified in Pediatrics and holds a Specialty Certification in School Systems with the American Occupational Therapy Association.  Within the community, Paula has led numerous initiatives with the Junior League of Wichita Falls, the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank, and the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture.  Paula recently completed a two-year term of service as a Board Member and the Governance Committee Chair of the Association of Junior Leagues International.

Joey Deal

Secretary

Joey and her husband, Cameron, are both from Wichita Falls and knew they wanted to raise their family here.  They have two boys attending WFISD and participating in sports, music and Boy Scouts.  They are active members of First United Methodist Church.  Joey is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Wichita Falls, involved in school PTOs and booster clubs and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Boy Scouts of America.  She has been involved with several fundraising events and nonprofit activities through the years.

Katie Britt

Website & Marketing 

Katie is the Marketing Director for the Wichita Falls Chamber.  She is a Wichita Falls native with 23 years of experience in graphic design, concept creation, brand management, digital media, and lead generation.  She is an award-winning marketer who is passionate about helping organizations streamline their marketing, identify their goals, and magnify growth.

Britt has worked for Times Record News, KFDX Texoma’s Homepage, Designworks Group, and Hearing Aid Express before joining the Chamber team in 2018.

Her passion for building a better Wichita Falls has helped catapult the Chamber’s brand locally and nationally and she looks forward to putting her skills to work for Impact100 WF.

Marisa Hafley

Vice President

Marisa, with her husband and son, has lived in Wichita Falls for six years.  They are active members of First Christian Church, and she is an Education Specialist at Region 9 Education Service Center.  With over 15 years of experience in many educational settings across the state of Texas, working with leaders and teachers has allowed her to support schools and impact education in a very meaningful way.  Marisa enjoys being a volunteer in WFISD and is also a member of PEO.

Jessica Traw

Treasurer

Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Jessica earned her BBA and MBA from Midwestern State University. Professionally, she is a licensed CPA and has worked for local non-profits for almost a decade. Currently serving as the Vice President of Finance for Work Services Corporation, a non-profit that empowers people with disabilities. She is dedicated to improving our community and serves on the board of several non-profits and community groups. Jessica and her husband Tyson stay busy raising two spirited daughters. 

Shelly Cunningham

Events 

Shelly was born and raised in Wichita Falls and is a graduate of Midwestern State University with a Bachelors degree in Humanities, a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and administration certification.  As a career educator, Shelly taught in WFISD middle schools and devoted much of her career to campus coordination efforts and events.  For nearly twenty years, Shelly has planned and led school trips throughout the U.S. and to London to broaden students’ horizons.  She currently serves as an Education Specialist at Region 9 Education Service Center.  She is married to Gary Cunningham, and has two daughters and a son-in-law.

Ashley Fitzwater

Director

Ashley is a native of Wichita Falls and anchors the 5, 6, and 10p newscast at NewsChannel 6. She has worked at the station since 2002 and loves how the job allows her to connect with people in the community she calls home. Ashley accepted a board position with Partners in Education set to begin this Fall. She has also served on the board of Community In Schools, Texoma Business Women and volunteers her time in the WFISD through PTO and Read to Learn. Ashley and her husband have two kids and enjoy serving in leadership at their church.

Pam Hughes Pak

Member Engagement 

Pam was born and raised in the Wichita Falls area.  She attended Midwestern State University and obtained a degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations.  For more than 25 years, Pam has served the community through various nonprofit roles.  She is currently the Director of Marketing and Development for THE Kitchen - Meals on Wheels.  Pam is also affiliated with the Association of Fund Raising Professionals, Senior Junior Forum and Chamber of Commerce.  Her greatest blessings are her two children, Lexy and Colt.

Rachel Reitan

Recruitment

Rachel is a nurse practitioner, working in infectious diseases and wound care, and holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is originally from San Antonio, but has called Wichita Falls her home since 2013. She is married to a Norwegian NATO instructor pilot and together they have two girls, ages 12 and 7. She was introduced to the nonprofit world as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow during her graduate studies and is now an Albert Schwietzer Fellow for Life. She became an active Impact100 member of the Wichita Falls chapter in 2019 and served as the Health and Wellness Committee Chair. She is eager to engage more women in our community's amazing nonprofit organizations!

Debi Walters

Development

Debi was born and raised in Wichita Falls. She is a graduate of Mary Hardin Baylor with a degree in Music Education. Debi was a teacher for 10 years, and then in 2000, she made a career change and has been a financial advisor for Northwestern Mutual since.  She currently holds four designations, CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) and CASL (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living). Debi has been a prominent fundraiser  with several  area nonprofits inclusive of Leadership WF and Dancing for the Stars and is currently serving on the Boards of  Crimestoppers and Peyton’s Project.  She has three adult daughters, a son-in-law, and three grandsons who all call Wichita Falls home.

Dr. Yvonne Hearn

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Dr. Yvonne Hearn has practiced pathology in Wichita Falls for over 25 years.  She has been actively involved in the College of American Pathologists to include serving on the CAP Foundation Board and numerous Councils/Committees. She is a Past President of the Texas Society of Pathologists.  She has served at United Regional Health Care System since 1998 to include multiple committees, URHCS Foundation Board, two years as President of Medical Staff, Chairman of the Department of Pathology, and three terms on the URHCS Hospital Board.   She worked with the Community Healthcare Center as a board member from 2014-2018.  Currently Dr. Hearn is excited to be a member of Impact100 WF Board, with the focus of Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

Ruth Jones Vaughn

Grants Director

Ruth has worked professionally in the nonprofit world for over 15 years with expertise in fundraising, grant writing, donor relations and communications.  She received her Certified Fundraising Executive designation (CFRE) in 2015 and is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. Prior to her role as Director of Fund Development at Presbyterian Manor, Ruth was an assistant grants director at a private foundation and began her nonprofit career as the marketing director of a nationally affiliated nonprofit organization. Ruth currently serves on the Texoma Planned Giving Council board.

Leslie Schaffner

Director

Leslie is a familiar face in the local nonprofit world with 30+ years of experience.  Leslie was named President/CEO of the Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation in 2018, after 16 years with The Priddy Foundation.  She is a founding board member of the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture, a co-founder of the annual Empty Bowls event to benefit the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank and is a past president of the Junior League of Wichita Falls.  Leslie and her husband, Alan, have two sons and two grandchildren.

Sonia White

Member Education

Sonia is the Director of the Center for Nonprofit Management & Leadership at MSU Texas and has recently assisted with launching the new Nonprofit Management Minor in the Dillard College of Business Administration.  Sonia has nearly two decades of professional experience in the nonprofit sector and has worked for multiple large nonprofits in the DFW Metroplex, as well as operating her own consulting firm, Sonia White Consulting, LLC.  Ms. White’s most recent nonprofit tenure was when she served as the Managing Director for Aging and Disability Services for the Community Council of Greater Dallas which included serving as the Director for the Area Agency on Aging for Dallas County.  She earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts from University of Texas at Austin, and her Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Supervision and Administration in the Fine Arts from Bank Street College and Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, NY.  Sonia is also a Standards for Excellence Licensed Consultant.

Ivonne Wineinger

Social Media

Ivonne was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. She moved to The United States at the age of 21 to finish her degree in Business Administration at The University of Oklahoma. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, which is where she alsomet her husband Keith. They moved back to Wichita Falls in 2008 and recently started a company called The Burn Shop. They have been successfully running the business together and enjoy staying involved with the community every way they can. Ivonne and Keith have two beautiful daughters, Hailey and Addison.
